WELCOME TO OUR FARM!

Farmers who love to cook

We're Luke & Rebecca. In 2022, supported by our doggo Durin, we decided to turn our passion for growing and eating healthy food into a small market garden farm. Gwynfe Growers was born!

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE

We believe that the system of international, commoditised agriculture is breaking the critical connection between those who produce food, and those who consume it. Farmers struggle to make a fair living, consumers get low quality food, selected for shelf life over flavour & covered in chemicals, and the environment suffers.

But it doesn't have to be that way...

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a farm and its local community. There are many different types of CSA, but all are based on creating a direct connection between farmers and eaters. The community supports the farmer to earn a fair living, and in return gets local, sustainable, high quality food.

We'll be launching a small CSA scheme in 2023, so sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know!

OUR FARMING VALUES

We are a small (less than an acre!), intensive farm, striving to be as sustainable as possible. We don't dig, nor do we use a tractor. While we're not certified organic (due to the expense & admin), we never use any kind of chemicals. We focus on the health of the soil, the pollinators & insects, and the broader ecosystem we inhabit. We encourage diversity. We're proud of how we grow, and will happily answer any questions!
